  • August 26th was the date set for the annual Gillingham/Portugal family reunion beach party cum feast, held in Suquamish, on the western side of Puget Sound.

  • September 11th - 13th became the "Three Mountains in Three Days" tour, heading south, north and west of home to reach them.

  • Ride to Cedar Falls, part of the Seattle water supply on the 3rd
  • The 7th was a gloriously sunny day, and a great day to go for a ride and circumnavigate Mt. Rainier with a destination of the Paradise Visitor Centre located on the south side of the mountain
  • The end of summer on the 9th
  • The new camellia starting to bloom on the 10th
  • October 10th also saw a reunion of the former Puget Sound Chapter of the ACM directors
  • Autumn colours appear at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Kirkland, WA. and also in my front garden on the 11th
