It was a wonderful day for a ride, so I took the bike and headed along Highway 2 towards Stevens Pass, with no particular destination in mind, but expecting to stop at Deception Falls as a minimum.
Just off Highway 2, a little west of the town of Skykomish, looking upstream over the Skykomish River.
Looking downstream (west) from the same location. My best guess is that is Crosby Mountain. The bridge carries the Burlington Norhtern Santa Fe railway line, headed towards Everett (thence Seattle) to the right, to Stevens Pass and all points east on the left.
