This is a Mountain Fire Pieris in bloom. I have a number of these, some with white flowers, as this one has, and others with pink flowers, as the following image displays!
This one is located just behind the one above, which is why the background looks the same.
The Camelia Sasaquana Yuletide in bloom. Although just a small plant at the moment, it is an early, long lasting bloomer.
The Aucuba 'Picturata', or Gold Dust Plant, in bloom. It has miniscule, black blooms. I believe these plants come in male and female varieties, and that one of each is required for good blooms. I do not have mixed genders!
This is the side lane, showing the progress with the Deal's Fotinia. All the red leaves are new growth. Fotinia are not quite weeds, but they do grow vigorously!
This is the front garden, on the way to the front door. These plants are, I believe, Mediterranean Heath. I have no information from the builder about what is in the front garden, but I did find a plant tag, and the picture looked like this, so I presume that is what I have. They flower for months, and require almost no maintenance.
