After unpacking at the San Diego Marriott, I went out on the little balcony I had, and saw this view - a wedding taking place in the park which was built on the protective wall around the marina, which is just visible at the bottom of the image.

The tall bridge is the Coronado Bridge, linking downtown San Diego to the Coronado Peninsula, which is located to the right of the image. The famous Coronado Hotel, a place where the rich and famous of yesteryear would congregate, is located on the peninsula. The round object at the bottom centre of the image is a restaurant and function room for the Marriott.
