It's autumn, the first frost has been, so now the leaves which will shortly fall off the trees, are loosing their chlorophyll, and hence their green colour. The resulting colour is the "natural" colour without chlorophyll, that amazing stuff which sustains just about all life on earth, one way or another.
This is the tree in front of my house, just west of the driveway.
