Father McCluskey's Farewell

For 16 years, Jesuit Father John McCluskey has been saying Wednesday morning Mass at St John Vianney Parish in Kirkland. First when we were located in St. Thomas Centre, then moving with us to our new home in Kirkland.

Wednesday morning Mass was followed by coffee and donuts. The regular attendees form a kind of family, and Father McCluskey was one of those members.

Sadly, all good things must come to an end, and so it was with Father McCluskey's Wednesday Mass. After missing a couple of weeks due to ill health, Father McCluskey returned from Spokane for a farewell Mass. This was on Wednesday, August 23rd 2000.
