Cliffs of Moher

While in Lisdoonvarra, Peter saw a sign to the "Cliffs of Moher". Not knowing what they were, we headed off that way. Wow! They are located on the Atlantic coast, and it was a very windy day. No danger of being blown off the cliffs, but being blown to the ground certainly was possible!

The Cliffs!

Not surprisingly, there are towers on the headlands. I expect they provide an excellent view to observe enemy vessels.

Kilmihil

As we were driving through Kilmihil, Peter wanted to stop and stretch his legs. Given the windy, cool day, Yvonne and I decided to stay in the car. Then Peter pointed out what he saw across the street from where we happened to pull in.

Immediately adjacent was a packed cemetery.

We continued our journey south to Limerick, our destination for the night. Limerick was very congested, with much stop and stop and go traffic. We never did quite a find a nice place to stop for the night, so we continued on, eventually stopping in Adare.
