Well, the bath has migrated to the bathroom! What a surprise.
A pleasant surprise, though. Dave was just removing his
tools after setting the bath in place.
And there's even plumbing to take the water away. The dark gray
area under the bath is actually some bricks, then covered in
cement (rendered?) to stabilise things. And there are screws
on the (soon to be covered) rim of the bath into the wall studs
to also hold it in place. There's nothing worse than a rocking
bathtub.
And the view from the outside shows water in the bath. I'm guessing
that this is to add weight to the bath so that it settles properly
onto the base.
Nothing too special about this - it's the now-insulated refrigerant
lines running from the garage to near the porch, where they are
sealed. If heating or cooling (and I would guess that heating
is more likely) is required, than an earth loop system can be installed.
