Wet Brick Laying

It was a dark and stormy night. Oops, wrong start. It was a drizzly and overcast (those two are often related) day on site, but well, it was Wednesday, so time for a visit. I had email saying the bricklayers were absent, but something must have been crossed somewhere, as they seemed pretty real to me.

Brick layers at work under the cover of the porch. And this is good to see, as it is the last of the areas needing bricks. There are a few window "sills" to finish, but otherwise this is it.

The western courtyard, from outside the ensuite. Brick work complete. And looks really good, too!

And the same area from outside the dining room, looking through the front door and also into the master bedroom (right).

And a view of the solar collector installation - with the plumbing complete, and in daylight so that it can be seen.

And I spent some time going over the electrical layout, to see if there was anything missing. Just a few minor points came up, and I'll take those up really soon, as the gyprock is scheduled to go up starting the middle of next week.
