Water and boys - a winning combination! And so it was this day.
I guess Dylan's Christmas present was a fishing rod. And so it must be tested. And Jake's a willing helper to haul in the big one.
When you live on a river, visiting friends or family by boat makes sense. And it's probably a very pleasant way to go.
Anticipation of the arrival of Santa is increasing. But where is he????
I don't know if this boat is decorated for Christmas, or if they are sneaking some Christams Bush! Either way, it's a nice change to see a boat like this.
Try to keep boys away from the river. Dylan's still trying to catch a fish, Gile is looking on, and Jake and Flynn seem to have lost interest.
Jake receiving instructions. He really does pay attention to what's being said - a very good characteristic to have.
Flying the flag - in front of a flame tree. One of the downstream neighbours.
Dylan must have decided that the fishing would be better in midstream. So he and Jake go out in Peter's canoe - Jake ever at the ready with the net. I'm not sure anybody thought about what would happen if they actually happened to catch a fish.
Hmmm, the canoe looks a lot smaller when seen in context of the river!
"Come in 97"! The fishermen are returning to base.
With relatives waiting for them on the beach, number 97 better come in pretty quickly!
