Just outside Lillooet is Seton Lake, used for hydro-electric power generation. It appears the lake is natural, although we never did see the dam wall.

At this point, the road is a considerable distance above the river. So, to get people to spend money, and get closer to the river, there's a "tram" or cable car leading down.
The tourist area down near the river, which flows (right to left) under the bridge. Note there is a railway line just above the tourist area. But there's also a line on this side of the river. The two lines travel up the valley - one for Canadian National, the other belonging to Canadian Pacific.
By this stage it was getting quite late, and especially at this time of year, dark. It was well past sunset when we arrived in Hope, so there are no more photos for this day.
