The road north from Whistler is quite enjoyable, with wonderful scenery, involving snow capped mountains and rugged cliffs. Plus the odd surprise.
Looking north from the viewpoint along Duffey Lake.
Looking south along Duffey Lake.
A closer view of the trees bordering the edge of the lake.
The road continues towards Lillooet, and the next point of interest (where there was room to pull off the road) was an area in shade, with a couple of frozen waterfalls.
High on the cliff opposite was a large, frozen waterfall. Or rather several of them. While it's hard to determine how large the drop, there are large trees at the base of the main falls! A still photo doesn't really show the falls being frozen, but there was no movement there!
Natalie and Keiran at the frozen falls lookout. Note the road conditions - no traction problems, but still time to be careful about ice.
