After the concert we headed to the foyer at the northern end of the Opera House, wherein entertainment was provided to fill in the period of 40 minutes or so until the fireworks began.

There was a small band (at the far end, almost under the stairs) providing dance music for people to trip the light fantastic.
There was a private party on the Opera House waterfront; this is the view we had of the affair. Well, that and the entertainers in the tent dancing in their undies!
