After a quite enjoyable dinner at the bistro within the Opera House, we headed up to the Concert Hall for the performance by Opera Australia, featuring their orchestra, principals and chorus. Photographs are not allowed during performance, but before and after I sneaked in a few.
The Concert Hall, with the orchestra, bathed in blue, tuning up.

A wider angle view of the hall, just as the house lights started dimming for the start of the performance.
The concert had an intermission just before 9PM to allow us to watch the early edition of the fireworks. However, the fireworks were cancelled because the wind was too strong, so we then returned to the concert. At the end of the concert, streamers and confetti flooded the stage.
The deluge from above.
