The first shot of the fireworks display started under the Harbour Bridge, but it quickly moved east and west from there. We had a great view to the east, but restricted, mostly by the Opera House structure and to a lesser extent the Harbour Bridge itself. Note that all these photos were taken indoors, and thus suffer reflections from the glass windows, and obstruction from the structures holding the windows in place.
The bright speck a little to the lower left of the centre, is Pinchgut Island/Rock, or Fort Denison.
Big on starbursts.
The first in a sequence.
Getting brighter, and with a startburst to boot.
Also shows nicely the obstructions from the Opera House windows.
