The spires are new - they were completed just recently, to add a certain majesty to this classic sandstone building.
The view of St. Mary's from the Sandringham Memorial Garden, located in Hyde Park. This memorial was dedicated by HRH Queen Elizabeth on the 5th of February, 1954.
The bowling club located adjacent to the cathedral has been replaced by an a piazza, complete with reflecting pool. (Underneath is a sports centre, with a swimming pool and squash courts.)
