Mum's Funeral

April 17th

As with Barry, Mum's Requiem Mass was celebrated at St Joseph's Catholic Church Como/Oyster Bay.

The plot, shared with Dad (aka Dandy). Even though it was April, the weather was delightful, tending to hot.

Cameron, Mel, Peter, Father Steve (Opus Dei), Yvonne and Lynn (former neighbour).

A sad note: Father Steve was killed in a car crash near Woolgoolga on the New South Wales north coast on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2007, just a few days before Easter. By coincidence, this photo was taken on April 16th, 2001; little would anybody have guessed that Father Steve had just six years to live. And another connection: Father Steve was attached to the Lismore Diocese, whose Bishop accompanied us on the pilgrimage tour in 2002.
