Adare

The weather forecast was for rain. The plan was to drive the Ring of Kerry when we reached Killarney.

Another view from the breakfast room, this time of the "Pay and Putt", which is a small golf course affair. Not sure I have the correct name; it doesn't sound quite right.

Trinitarian Monastery in Adare

After breakfast, we drove into Adare township (the B & B was on the outer edge), and attended Mass at the Trinitarian Monastery. Founded in 1230, this is the only monastery of the Trinitarian order known in Ireland. It is now Holy Trinity Abbey, Adare's Roman Catholic Church.

Adare Gardens

One of the many creeks we saw in Ireland. They were all flowing vigourously, but they had received a great deal of rain during this time.
