Day 13 - Lourdes

Scheduled departure from Lourdes was not until after lunch, so we had the morning for Mass and a "self guided" tour of the town.

Australian and British Mass at chapel of Sts. Cosmos and Damien at Lourdes

Morning Mass was in the Chapel of Saints Cosmas and Damien. This is located in one of the buildings on the avenue in front of the basilica. This morning we were joined by a group from England.

Walking Tour

After Mass Peter and I went walking around, while Yvonne went on a shopping expedition.

The Basilicas

There are actually two basilicas located here, the upper and lower. They are not so much one above the other as one behind the other.
