The guests duly arrived in time for the feast to begin. I don't recall the order, but the guest list was Bev and Di, Lynn and Malcolm, Mel and Guy (the only non-Sydney guest).
The birthday boy with friends! From left, Bev, Lynn, Di and Yvonne.
There are no photos of cooking/heating/consuming food. Or even the cake ceremony. The photographer was busy, and at times was out of step with the camera - recording video when it wasn't desired, and, worse, the other way around!
Marina helped Lily with her hair "training", including the use of rollers, as seen here. But that was just about done.
It's actually Lily behind the flower. She loves picking flowers, and this dahlia was just too tempting!
Lily, in all her beauty for this special day. She loves animals, and red nails! That's Kelly next to her.
Ellywan in afternoon sunshine. The car belongs to Lynn and Malcolm. Little did we know that it now had a flat battery. The NRMA was called, but had to come from Nowra, and took 90 minutes. The technician did get the car to start, but that VW requires a lot of battery to start - eventually 2 batteries and the NRMA truck's engine running at high speed. But once started, Lynn and Malcolm made it back home without problems.
The back of the bedroom wing of Ellywan. The creek is behind the camera, and the pool is off to the right of the house.
Ah, that moon again! It's just past being overhead of the lawn monument. Not that that is particularly important!
Ellywan at dusk. Given the smoke coming out from the far end, I would guess there was a fire in the pit. The nights - especially clear ones like this - do cool off quickly.
After much pleasant evening conversation, it was time for bed, and a good night's sleep. Some of the rooms even had a skylight, which provided a view of the stars by which to fall asleep.
