North Ainslie

On the way back from Mass I glimpsed an excellent view.

And at that intersection is Ainslie North Primary School, with quite a decent playing area (behind the sign).

And the school playing area also has its magpie population.

And a side view of Mt. Ainslie. The view from Mt. Ainslie over Parliament House is from the right side of Mt. Ainslie as seen in this view.

From there it was back to the hotel to meet Peter and his family for lunch, and a time for us to all catch up and have a quiet conversation - not much chance of that last night.

Northbourne Avenue near Hotel Rex

Northbourne Avenue, in front of the Canberra Rex Hotel where I was staying. This is the south bound lanes; north bound are across the well vegetated median strip.
