After lunch, it was generally agreed that a walk was in order. So we walked towards the headland, destination being a playground where the youngsters could let off some steam. From left, Kelly, Yvonne with Cooper in the stroller, Craig and Cameron carrying Flynn on his shoulders. Leanne is behind Cameron.
Cooper seems happy to be coming along with us. The playground equipment was not designed for 10 month old children, so Cooper had to stay outside with the adults.
And Flynn was happy to be on Dad's shoulders for the journey of two blocks. And unlike as happened to "Dandy" (Peter) a few weeks ago, Flynn will not be able to say "I can see your head" - meaning scalp, a word which Flynn doesn't know yet.
Jake arriving at the playground, riding his electric scooter which Santa left for him this year. What I would have given for something like that as a child. Problem is they weren't available at any cost, let alone an affordable price.
Flynn was content to ride the slippery dips, which were located at the end where we sat - outside the fence! There is a certain style to his sliding down! The bigger boys were playing on the other equipment intended to be more challenging for older boys.
Cautious Flynn rides the dip
By now it was time to return to base. Craig and Leanne and boys were heading to the beach; Jake decided to join them too. And Yvonne, Peter and I were planning on a longer walk.
