On Thursday, December 28th, I drove to Bendalong, which is located a little south of Jervis Bay. There were two reasons; the first being to see the family, all of whom (except Glenn) were there on holidays for at least the next week; secondly to bring Keiran back to Sydney for a certification exam on Saturday. Glenn was coming down on Friday, which didn't really fit into the schedule, unfortunately.
The drive takes about 2.5 hours following the Princes Highway until the Bendalong turn off, some distance south of Nowra. I arrived about noon, which was the educated guess time.
Flynn and Cooper in Peter and Yvonne's soon-to-be-replaced van. Cooper is crawling, and Flynn seems mesmorised. Perhaps he has not seen Cooper crawling before.
The place for lunch. At this time of year, the shade is much appreciated. Fortunately, today's temperature was in the mid 20s, which is very pleasant. And being on a headland, there was a cooling sea breeze.
Cameron and Michelle hired the cabin behind Peter and Yvonne's van, which is located at the far end of this verandah. Craig (left), with Leanne (seated, far right) and his two sons were visiting for lunch, while Cameron is busy cooking at the far end. And Keiran is standing with Kelly seated holding Cooper. Jake is the one with the red shirt, back to camera.

Keiran doing some preparation work as the food is appearing on the table. I have no photos of the table or the meal hereafter. I do remember I enjoyed it greatly.
