Ah, the piece-de-resistance of any birthday - the cake, with candles. In this case, it's an ice cream cake.

Tynan blowing out the candles. Flynn is "helping" too, although he's not supposed to. Well, it takes a while to sort out who blows out the candles, and Flynn is not quite three. And, in any event, he's efforts are generally ineffective.

Ah, but it's much easier when the base is lifted out of the case, as has been done here. Note the plate moving in rapidly to receive a slice of (ice cream) cake.
As the party is winding down, Kelly, Cooper, Yvonne and Peter are having a quiet moment on the playing field.

Cooper, doing as babies do - new things go into the mouth. This is an inker/stamp set, which probably doesn't taste very good, although fortunately Cooper is only "tasting" the plastic case.
At this point it was time to head home, as the party had just about wound down to nothing, the cleaning had been done, and the clubhouse was pretty much back to the state before we arrived.
