Time to line up for the three legged race. Some final preparations taking place in the middle.
Seems to be some problem at this end of the line, with several teams having stability issues. Or perhaps they just couldn't coordinate properly to turn around.
Ah, a late entry into the fray. With a bit of help from Glenn to "tie the knot", so to speak.
The starter looks the field over to make sure everybody is ready.
And they're ready.
And they're off in the Tynan 7th Birthday Three Legged Race.
And there seems to be some sort of incident on the starting line, where a number of teams have failed to make much progress. I guess this coordination business is harder than it looks.
And there is a clear leader at the halfway point.
And the winner is... With a slightly strange style crossing the line, but who cares when you are first over!
And we have a second place finisher coming in now, with some photographic interference from Jake who appears to be running in the wrong division, as this is the three legged version.
And in third place... And I believe these were the only three teams to finish. This coordination business must be harder than it appears.
