My house being now 6 years old, painting was in order. In fact, there's about to be a rash of house paintings in the development, as the houses are all about the same age.
I didn't like the colour of my home's exterior, so I visited the paint store and picked up a few colour samples, then fired up the computer and used The Gimp to "paint" the house. I printed the result, and asked the Homeowner's Association for a change of colour. Duly approved, the painters arrived, and the deed is now done.
Note that the yellow colour is a little more intense than appears in these photos. And note also that the old colour was photographed under very different lighting conditions.
