Blue Mountains With Enid

On Saturday, January 4th 2003, I drove to Leura in the Blue Mountains to visit Enid (Judy's mum) and be taken to dinner at the Paramount Cafe in Katoomba - a much promised date! After a pleasant drive, with relatively little traffic for a Saturday morning, I reached Enid's place, then after suitable refreshments, we headed off to play tourist, with Enid playing the part of local guide.

Eagle Hawk Lookout

We headed off to the Three Sisters, but the parking area is being rebuilt, and there was much congestion, so we continued on, and discovered Eagle Hawk Lookout.

Both the Scenic Railway and the cable car. The railway ends at the area immediately below the cable car, and the red dots are the seats on one of the trains.

Hildas Lookout

We continued along the Cliff Drive to Hildas Lookout.
