Point Sur. Given it's location and shape, it's perhaps not surprising that the headland is the site of a lighthouse. The lighthouse used to be open for inspection, but has been closed (presumably after September 11th, 2001).

I took a number of photos attempting to actually snap one while the light was showing in this direction. None of them really worked, but this one had a little light showing. Then The Gimp worked it's magic adding 'sparkle')
Although outdoor seating is available, we ended up eating inside. I don't recall why. This is the view looking south along the coast.
