Near the top end of the canyon, looking east towards Leavenworth.
Same location, looking west. The Wenatchee River looked #font bold is not known very #font is not known cold.
Looking roughly north, showing the snow covered rocks.
Snow covered rocks sitting in the river! I bet that water is cold!
This area was in the shade of the mountains, and so cooler, and thus the snow is still clinging to the trees. There was no wind, so the snow fell off the trees because it was warming up.
Looking towards the east, and the mountains are becoming smaller, as we are approaching the end of the foothills.
Looking back towards Stevens Pass and the source of the Wenatchee River. The orange pole is to let the snow plough drivers know where the edge of the road is located.
Across the river to the hills on the other side.
