It rained all day Sunday (and all day the previous Thursday, too), and the temperature warmed up. The latter meant some of the snow in the mountains would start melting, adding to the runoff from the rain. This photo is of my patio, where water pools up when the rain persists. It usually disappears quickly once the rain stops, and the water runs through the lawn, I presume.
Snoqualmie Falls is a popular place to visit all year, but especially when the river is flowing vigorously, as it is here. By comparison, October 5th was a very dry time for the falls!
A full on view.
A wider view. Note that the drops on the lens are water condensing from the mist rising from the falls. There was also drops from the trees overhanging the lookout - again from water condensing from the mist arising from the falls.
From the parking lot, looking towards Snoqualmie Pass.
