Views around Earlwood

End of St. James Ave, looking over Bardwell Park towards Hurstville

The view from the southern end of St. James Avenue, overlooking southern Sydney, specifically Bardwell Park, towards Hurstville.

Earlwood parking lot - look at those trees!

The lower levels of the council parking lot. I remember when this area was a gully! Now the trees are growing to a decent size.

Looking east from Earlwood Car Park

The end of the parking lot, showing some of the houses on Lambert Rd, above mum's home (which cannot be seen due to the trees!).

Currawong at Earlwood Car Park

A magpie in the parking lot. The bush areas nearby attract quite a few types of birds, including sulphur crested cockatoos and kookaburras (both of which were almost non-existent when I was a child). Technically this appears to be a black backed magpie.
