It was time to walk back to the hotel for a quick lunch.
Along the waterfront from our hotel is Copenhagen's statue museum. I'm not sure what it's called, but it has copies of various statues, busts etc. It never appeared open when I walked past, but perhaps I didn't look closely enough, and wasn't especially interested anyway. But on the outside, they do have a copy of the "Statue of David".
At the wharf at the back of our hotel. I gather the ferry was rather noisy (engine noise, 24 hours/day), but my room was on the other side, so I could not hear any of it. Of course, I only had a view of the Dutch Embassy! Certainly the old and the new.
I don't know how old the sailing boat is, but it seemed to be in very good condition. And our hotel is on the right.
Looking toward the end of the quay - the ship on the left is the lighter which passed when I was at the "Little Mermaid" statue. The flags, left to right, are German, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish. Note also Von Frelsers Kirke, with the outside stairs.
After lunch and a meeting with some folks in the tour, I decided to go walkabout for a while, and meet them for an outdoor concert. So off I headed.
This seems to be a common form of construction housing - the office is placed on top of a shipping container. At times, there are multiple levels of offices. I guess when you have a very large shipping company's headquarters in your city, containers are not in short supply.
