Floriade 2012
Australia's national capital, Canberra, stages Floriade each year, starting in September. It's a celebration of Spring which transforms Commonwealth Park into a flower show. The rest of the year, it is a grassy area, but come September, it becomes a kaleidoscope of colour. There is also an associated "village" where vendors offer their wares.
