The last Qantas 747 has been on a national tour before its final flight to the Mojave Desert in California. I missed that, but the day before that flight I learned that it was going to fly over the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS) which is located about 90 minutes from home. HARS has a Qantas 747 on display at Shellharbour Airport, and the last flight was to pass over that plane, which holds the record for the longest non-stop flight of a commercial airliner from London to Sydney. https://hars.org.au/boeing-747-438-longreach/
The Society's web site, https://hars.org.au/ has much information about their planes, flying or otherwise.
