There's a museum and a concert venue on the grounds of the property, but we didn't have sufficient time to explore any of these in great detail, which was a pity, since the museum was (apparently) quite interesting.
A rather attractive concert hall, overlooking part of the adjacent lake.
Close up of the stage shows another building outside.
Ah, the outside building referenced above. It was Grieg's "workshop", where he escaped the hustle and bustle of the home environment to ease the work of composing.
The interior of the workshop, much as it would have been in Grieg's time.
A section of the pathway leading down to the lake behind the home. There's moss growing in many places, but that's expected in a wet climate.
The graves of Edward & Nina Grieg. It's not easy to read the inscription, unfortunately. Grieg chose this place as it is the last location to see the rays of the sun at sunset.
And so it's back to the bus to return to Bergen and Bryggen.
