When we arrived at the zoo, neither bear was showing any interest in the water, so we wandered off and toured the rest of the zoo. Towards the end of our time at the zoo, we went back to the bear pair enclosure, and discoverd them swimming!
Seems more natural for the polar bear to be swimming!
Great windows for viewing the swimming bears. Unfortunately, there are many reflections on the glass, as seen in pretty much all these images. Sigh.
And Oreo, the brown bear, also goes swimming, which apparently is not common, but then I'm sure this one was influenced by circumstances.
