Anzac Parade was some time from being finished in 1964, though the scheduled
data would probably have been before April 1965, being the 50th anniversary
of the Gallipoli Landings, from whence the ANZAC name arose.
Given the pond is in the middle of a roundabout on one of Canberra's main
roads, it's doubtful families sail boats on it any more.
