Moving Day was too busy to take any photos, and in any event, see one move, you've seen 'em all! A large truck, and a couple of brawny movers...
Building operations were, appropriately, off limits for moving day, but the following day, Ryan was here (with Chris) to remove and replace the damaged gyprock in the lounge room ceiling.
Some time later, the hole was gone. Not the cracks where the hole used to be, but otherwise the hole is gone.
And a couple of days later, the gyprock fixer came to fill the cracks, and make it look like new. Well, except for sanding to make it physically smooth, and painting to hide it altogether.
A view of the big room from outside the pantry door. I have lived with very little furniture since returning, mostly because it was just more stuff to move. But no more - I can now fill the house. When I have some money :-(
The big room from the north west corner. Note that while there is not much furniture, I do have a good collection of boxes! The darker cardboard boxes are Seattle originals!
And that concludes this series of building a home. From here on it's a matter of turning the bare ground or weeds into something decent, and furnishing a bit more of the house, and finishing wardrobes/closets etc. Nothing exciting or revolutionary, but needed to turn a house into a home!
