Sometime in the 1960s

I think these would have been the early to mid 1960s; alas the slides do not have the usual Kodak month/year information on them.

These photos have poor colour balance (and amount) due to an incident. As I recall, the film was wound out of its canister by excessive force. Dad and I "simulated" a dark room to put it back in to send off for processing. The simulation wasn't very good.

I have done some mangling to try to remove the worst of the excess of red, but the damage is not repairable, and I didn't think these worth the effort to really try fixing them.

Sydney Botanical Gardens

Dad wanted to visit the Gardens during Spring to photograph the blooms. I was there too - probably by choice. Some interesting scenes of people.

Weekend Boating

The boys (brother Peter and mates) bought a boat for skindiving use. I think this must have been about the time the boat arrived. These photos were taken on Cooks River, just inland from where General Holmes Drives crosses the river, and adjacent to Sydney Airport, which is on the other side of the river.
