Dinner time was almost upon us, as Lily is sitting at the table, eating a slice of meat from one of the plates behind on the counter. Peter is carving, then Michelle and Yvonne in the kitchen, with Brent and Tia waiting after answering the call.
The birthday cake. Well, the one with 8 candles for two birthdays of 4 and 11. Eight is about the average, but more importantly, was the number of candles available for use! And there is another cake, in case this one proved insufficient!
After the candles were blown out, time for a photograph spanning 2 generations - nana and two of her grandchildren, whose birthday's we just happened to be celebrating. Note: this and the following photo were taken with incorrect settings on the camera. The colours have been adjusted closer to being correct, but are still not correct.
Tia and Lily certainly get along well and seem to be sharing a moment of laughter. The doll's house was Lily's present, with bits and pieces from several family members. A combined present, so to speak. As was Jake's present - a new, blue penny skateboard, and a new blue helmet to match!
Lily in her finest party wear, including the new necklace which was a present from Nana. And catch that eye shadow!
