Green playing field with goal posts and trees behind, plus 2 teams of 6 year olds On Saturday morning, May 5th Peter and I attended one of Cooper's football games, this time at Kurnell. Although we have travelled past the playing field several times, neither of us had stopped or even had a good look at it. It's quite a pleasant area. And, of course, after all the rains of the last year, it's green.

Two little boys and two little girls on the field before the match begins That's Cooper on the left, facing the camera. Yes, the team includes girls!

Two teams of littlies, a couple of coaches and a referee on the field The teams line up in preparation for the game. Given their young ages - 6 or so - coaches are allowed on the field too. As shown in the video, at times the coach is needed to remind the players which direction to run! That's Glenn on the left, back to camera. He is one of the coaches for Cooper's team, who are dressed in the yellow and maroon colours. The referee is in red.

Two adults, two children on the sidelines Kelly also bought Lily and her friend Holly along to the game. They were more interested in exploring the area and playing in the area to the left. Somehow, Cooper's exploits on the field were of no interest to them!

Man instructing little boy on kicking the ball Coach Glenn explaining about kicking the ball. At this age, those skills are somewhat lacking, including the idea of kicking the ball at the goalposts!

Blonde haired boy holding drink after the game Game over, Cooper is enjoying some juice after a hard game. Well, he did score two tries!
