Keiran and Marina were house-sitting for Glenn and Kelly, so it was decided we would have an Easter Sunday lunch and afternoon walk through the national park.
Marina with Trapper, and Keiran, on the wharf/platform at Captain Cook's landing
place in 1770. The dark patch in the middle is the result of some people who
decided that setting fire to the structure would be a good idea. Such people
are not qualified to live in society; a desert island is the place for them.
This is the
Aboriginal soundscape walk,
but unfortunately we heard nothing as we traversed the track.
Looking over the obelisk commemorating Captain James Cook's landing at this
spot on April 28th
1770. The wharf behind is for the oil refinery, and Towra Point in the distance.
Trapper at home - in the laundry. No doubt feeling the heat and effects of
his long walk through the National Park.
