Needless to say, 10 year old boys have a different interest than 3 year old girls. So Jake's presents were entirely different!
Jake seems to be quite interested in this potato chip. Since he then
ate it, it appears to have been quite OK.
One of Jake's presents was a walkie talkie set. Here his brother
Flynn has one of them and is listening to the instructions coming
over the air.
The gun was a present for Jake. Peter and Brent are here figuring out
how to assemble it; the sort of thing that is often best done with
less interrruptions than a birthday party!
Flynn and Cooper (white cap) on lower left are watching too.
The pizza arrived in time for the gun assembly to stop, which seemed
like a good idea to give a bit of thinking time to the assembly operation.
From left: Jake, Tynan, Ryan (Tynan's school mate) and Deacea (Tynan's mum).
Finally the gun is assembled and here is Jake showing it off. The gun
fires "paper bullets", which are soaked in water before firing;
this results in the "bullet" splattering on hitting an object.
