Lily and Jake's birthdays are on consecutive days, so a combined party is a good idea. For now, anyway! Scheduling dictated this year's event to be on July 12th - close, but not quite the correct day. Glenn and Kelly were the hosts. At the appropriate time, we arrived to celebrate.
This is Peter and Yvonne's present for Lily. They have a child's table
at home, and Lily really likes it. So now she has her own at her home.

Lily was rather tired, and threw a hissy fit over something or other.

Doesn't take much to distract Lily - here she is now opening her birthday
card, with brother Cooper watching on.
Lily has the card open - and it's a singing card! Much surprise
all around - even Flynn has come in to see what it is. He's quite the
gadget boy, so would be quite interested too. We haven't quite figured
out the words from the singing in the card!

Lily received a "Little Pet Shop" present for her birthday. It
opens like a book (seen in the bottom of the photo) with various places
for pets to be placed. And some of them have action, such as a
merry-go-round in the middle (the part with the circular roof in the picture).
Michelle bought an "animal pack" to augment the one or two which came
with the shop. And here they are removing the animals and Lily is
placing them in the shop.

by this. Here she was showing me how the animal rotates when in the
bath if she turns the wheel on the side!
