A view from the front lawn, although technically not exactly the front lawn. In the foreground are Flynn and Cooper; Den on the tennis court, Dinny, Bev and Peter outside, and Keiran on the inside.
Flynn and Cooper - best of mates - on the front lawn. I suspect they are sitting on the septic system, which would probably revolt them if they were to realise it!
A group discussing photography while there is some form of tennis going on. Cooper on the metal box, testing his one legged balance. Dinny, Bev, Peter and Keiran, with Den and Tynan on the court, with racquets.
The view from the road into Camp David, looking south. Sunset is approaching, with the foreground area already in shadow from the mountains yet the distant hills are still in the sun.
Camp David is now in the shadow of the hills behind. The line of trees along the fence provide a nice screen from the passing traffic, which is light as there is only one property past Camp David!
Flynn and Cooper built this fort from the loose dirt on the driveway. They thought it would provide protection, but the giant wombat came out of the garden, and looked like it was about to overrun the fort. Fortunately it retreated without doing any damage.
Flynn decided the fort needed a main gate, so the bent stick will do. But where to place it? Flynn looks deep in thought here.
Dusk is upon us at the end of the day. This was still during daylight savings time (which ended Sunday morning).
Time for dinner, though none of us were especially hungry. Here the youngsters are eating. From left: Tia, Lily, Flynn, Cooper, Tynan, Jake and Jye. In the background: Yvonne, Keiran and Michelle.
The Three Musketeers - Tynan, Jake and Jye. Cooper (background) seems to be concerned about not being in the group!
