This is Cooper's last year in Bambino's pre-school, as he starts school next year. And today was his end of year concert, in which the children dance in various groups on the stage.

The Concert

There are three groups of children, and each group had a set of dances to perform. The first group up was The Bumblebees.

The Bumblebees performed three numbers:

The photos are a bit unfair, as the dynamic aspect of the children's enthusiasm does not show. They are not very synchronised, but then they are also the youngest performers. And some are more energetic than others.

Dragonflies

About 25 children and 5 adults on stage The Dragonflies group performed dances to the tunes of Here they are being organised on the stage, prior to the act beginning.

50 children on stage, and a few adults to help along Then came a mass danceathon to that old favourite "Do The Hokey Pokey". Some of the children were more hokey pokey than others, but they seemed to enjoy themselves.

Superkids

Four children going through the counting part of Here, the children were counting using their fingers as the singer went through the numbers 1 to 9 in the song Can You Point Your Fingers? Judging from Cooper's fingers (left hand), I'd say they were up to three.

Finale

Stage full of children and a few adult assistants The Finale involved all the children singing Jingle Bells. Here they are gathered in preparation for the signing.

Close up of little boy with anxious look on face; little girl smiling behind Cooper during the singing of Jingle Bells. Not sure why he has that look - perhaps checking to see family is still looking at him, something he did several times.
