Yvonne's family birthday was held a little early this year due to other commitments in the family. So we all gathered at Illawong to celebrate.

said star gazing, but I doubt Lily is quite up to that yet.
This scene looks more like mosquito zapping, though.
Probably plane gazing more than anything else. But, it's up that way.

Back in the kitchen, Michelle is lighting the candles on the birthday cake.
The boys are becoming more disorganised.

But Lily breaks the chaos with her
table dance,
while Yvonne guards the cake.
The cutting of the cake, and it's obvious who is most interested in
the results!
After the cake has been cut and consumed, Lily is riding
horsie,
which was her mum's riding toy. Yvonne has saved a number of the
playthings from her children's younger days to pass along. Perhaps
they will become family heirlooms one day - if not already!
