Christmas this year was celebrated at Yvonne and Peter's home, which I think has been the "usual" place for the last few years. Apart from family, the "almost family" Bev and Di were present too. Though they left before the meal, as did Kelly, Glenn, Cooper and Lily. Multiple family Christmas arrangements can be complex.
This was not Lily's Christmas present - a trike all her own. All the youngsters like these, including 9 year old boys!
Time for snacks in the great outdoors. Being overcast kept the temperature down a bit, and it was comfortable outdoors.
Glenn trying to open Cooper's present - an Etch-a-sketch tablet, while Lily is examing her present - a "vacuum cleaner" still in its box. The pink trike was Lily's present too - at least it is a distinctive colour to the boys' trikes! No confusion here.
The family that plays together stays together? Flynn, Michelle and Jake. Jake and Flynn likely have their Nintendo's; Michelle probably her blackberry.
Lily cleaning her feet before coming inside. Well, that was the plan. There is new, light coloured carpet in the house, so keeping the young feet clean goes a long way to keeping the carpet clean.
After the chaos of giving out presents, then the slowing effects of eating, the house quietens down somewhat. Jake and Flynn are playing with their new Nintendos, with their other presents stacked, ready for departure.
Afterwards, we headed to our respective homes, for some appropriate R & R!
The following day, the family, except me, was off to Bendalong for varying periods of time.
