The plan was to meet at Illawong and head over to Michelle's new home for a look.
When I arrived, Jake, Flynn and Cooper (here) were riding on
the driveway, and Jake was "jumping" his Razor style scooter
over a skateboard. Cooper here was waiting for a turn of
Jake's scooter, rather than his three wheeled one.
Lily was here also, as Peter & Yvonne were baby sitting them
for the day. The plan was to wait for Kelly to arrive then head
on over to the new place. But Kelly was delayed, so we headed
off without her.
Michelle's is a townhouse, located at the end of the row.
That's part of her garage door, and the entrance and lounge room
downstairs, and the master and a second bedroom upstairs.
The back of the house, and a little of the back yard. The
yard is paved, so there's no lawn to mow. And a small garden
along the back fence with a pond.
Lily in the back yard, with Peter. And note also the wooden bench
attached to the wall. Though when I tried it, it did not feel as
though it was designed to carry an adult's weight.
View from the corner of the master bedroom. No carpet, and the painter's
ladder is in position for action the next morning. That's Cooper
out in the hall, in front of the door to Jake and Flynn's room.
As the carpet had been pulled up, the edges around the walls had
nails protruding upwards to hold the carpet when installed.
The view out the front door, also from the same location. The lounge
room is off the far right, behind the boxes of furniture in the foreground.
The community has a tennis court for use by residents. It's artifical
grass, but that makes sense here.
There's also a "club house", available for residents use, and suitable
for hosting parties and other such events. There's a kitchen in the
far corner. The effect in the lower left is a reflection of the
outside brick patio.
Lily is walking quite well, though like most youngsters, is attracted
to all manner of unimportant things along the way.
Jake showing his skateboard skills while riding under a blanket -
presumably to simulate surfing actions.
It was time for dinner at the end of a pleasant afternoon.
