Wood shake roof, umbrellas and forest behind The famed Alice's Restaurant on Skyline, which runs along the top of the ridge of mountains to the west of San Francisco Bay. It's a great road for motorcyclists, with many twists and turns. And it's easily reached from Jeffrey's home!

Line of motorcycles in front of restaurant Alice's is a biker hangout on weekends, this being part of the parking lot.

Few motorcycles in front of convenience store amidst trees We parked on the other side of the road, where there are a couple of stores, including a convenience store.

Woman and man sitting on chairs in front of convenience store Peggy and Jeffrey relaxing with a drink in front of the convenience store. It was a pleasantly warm day, and refreshment was welcome.

Parking lot in front of convenience store Jeffrey and Peggy walking back to the bikes to ride home. Alice's is across the road amongst the trees.

Three motorcycles and a man and a woman Jeffrey's bike collection - a CBR 1000, CBR 600 and R1150RT (the latter being my former bike). We traded bikes on the way back - I rode the CBR 1000, and Jeffrey rode the Beemer. The CBR was a very enjoyable bike to ride, though not what I would consider a good long distance ride (not its purpose), and a real threat to a rider's license :-(
